Trying to squeeze it all in

With Aubrey coming soon I have felt the need to do as many things as possible with the boys. I don't know why I feel like I have to do so much, but I just know that some things just won't be as easy to do with a little baby around. Some friends of ours gave us some tickets to the Rockets game on the 18th. The boys were pretty excited, especially Cade. He was pretty much wide eyed the whole time!

Cade's favorite player is Luis Scola. It just so happened that he was not playing the night we went because he was hurt. While we were getting ready for the game, Cade decided that he wanted to write Scola a "get better" note. The note says "Dear Luis Scola, I will pray for you to feel better. Love, Cade" The picture at the bottom is Scola shooting the ball. Matt walked Cade down to the tunnel where the players walk out so they could give Scola the note, but Scola never looked up at them. I was a little glad because I think the note is cute and I wanted to keep it for myself!

Like father like son. They were both so into the game that they didn't even realize I was taking this picture!

This past week the weather was perfect and Matt and I decided to take the kids to play putt putt. We have been wanting to go for awhile and we figured there was no better time!

Reid was doing a pretty good job, but would get frustrated every once in awhile. When that happened, he would just pick up the golf ball and set it right next to the hole so he could hit it in!
When we left we took the boys to Orange Leaf to get some frozen yogurt. It was a great way to end the night!

After Cade finished his yogurt he had fun writing. He loves doing that lately!

Reid had to make sure he got every last drop!

On April 1st the Astros played their first baseball game. We have been counting down the days! True to our tradition, we had hot dogs, popcorn and pretzels while watching the game!

The last few weeks have been full of fun. Even though Aubrey will be here soon and my life will get a little crazy, I will have to make sure that we continue these great family nights!
